I had several back-and-forth discussions with Genasun about the concept of having one controller per panel, resulting in a very large number of units all desiring to be "the boss." Ideally, those units should be just maximizing the power harvested from their panel, and leave the charge control to a separate unit.<br /><br />What's your thinking on this subject? Have you noticed any issues with the current setup?<br /><br />Also, I see you have some boost controllers, some not, and assume you decided you only needed boost for the lower voltage panels. Have you verified that, under partial shade conditions, the other panels do not need the extra boost?
